First and foremost, Ryan Reynold as the voice of Pikachu has won our hearts and we are now way too anxious to watch the film. The second trailer of Detective Pikachu was released recently, and this motion picture keeps on looking wonderful. Based on the Nintendo 3DS game of a similar title, Detective Pikachu follows the life of a kid named Tim (Justice Smith) as he looks for his missing dad Harry and Pikachu’s owner.
The trailer was full of action with live-action Pokémons helping out or creating hurdles for the Pikachu and Tim who are working together for a common cause. With Pikachu not remembering anything about him except that he loves coffee, and Tim not understanding how he is able to communicate with a ‘hallucination’, the film is all set to take you on a rollercoaster ride. In any case, it looks like Detective Pikachu isn't finished getting us energized.
The story, the characters, and even the cinematography are exemplary noir; toss in some gigantic special effects to breathe life into these charming Pokémons who are shown in the trailer. And then there is the soundtrack – Bonnie Tyler’s ‘I Need A Hero’ which was highly popular in the 1980s, thanks to TV series Cover Up. Now, it will become even more popular since it targets youngsters and old alike!
Pokémon Detective Pikachu seems all an all a treat to the eyes for the fans of the animated series as well as movie buffs who want it to get released soon. It will hit the cinemas in Pakistan on May 10 and nobody would be happier than those who live Pokémon, drink Pokémon and eat Pokémon to stay alive.
