She further appraised Bradley Cooper who directed the film as well as playing lead opposite her for believing in the team.
After receiving the award, she stated:
“If you’re at home, and sitting in couch and watching this right now, all I have to say that this is hard work. I have worked hard for a time and it’s not about winning. It’s about not giving up! If you’ve a dream, fight for it. There’s a discipline for passion, and it’s not about how many times you get rejected or you fall down, or you’re beaten up. It’s about how many times you stand up and are brave and keep going.”
Lady Gaga, alongside her co-singer Bradley Cooper performed the track intimately at the ceremony with the piano. The two sitting faces towards each other reflected great affinity leaving everyone with awe.
Also, Gaga was nominated for the leading actress category. She wore a custom-made Alexander McQueen Bustier silk Black gown with black gloves.
She also wore a century old yellow diamond necklace earlier worn by Audrey Hepburn for her movie “Breakfast at Tiffany's” in the 60s.
